M2 in Media and Communications Law
The M2 in Media and Communications Law is one of Toulouse 1 Capitole University’s ‘digital honours’ degrees, a first of its kind in France. Although this master’s degree was one of the earliest courses in media and communications law, the course has adapted to the changes in its subject. Every year, it offers a programme based on the changes in the media and communications sectors.

The master’s degree trains students, who have entered from general university courses, on media law as understood as the law relating to the methods (networks, infrastructures, platforms) and the laws on content (radio, television, cinema, e-commerce) including literary and artistic copyright.
Students graduating from the Master’s 2 Media Law degree have entered the legal departments of large media companies (TF1, Canal +, M6, etc.), the electronic communications sector (orange, free, etc.) and even regulatory agencies (ARCEP, CSA, CNIL).
