Cultural activities
The third research area unifies the studies carried out on public and private cultural activities from both cultural policy and culture regulation perspectives.
The studies carried out focus on culture within the broader anthropological meaning (this includes studies on religions, arts and cultural diversity) and within the more limited sense of heritage, and artistic and intellectual creation. The various cultural activities studied encompass live performance, cinema, books, photography and cultural heritage (especially museums). Research also delves into the changes affecting cultural institutions as well as the types of public actions, cultural professions and funding.
