On 12 February, IDETCOM, in partnership with the Master’s 2 International Relations and Security Policy course and the Cybercercle, has the honour of welcoming Christian Daviot, strategy adviser to the French Cybersecurity Agency, the ANSSI, to talk at this conference. There will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session on international law issues relating to cyberspace.

France has taken a firm position on that international law should apply to the virtual space. As part of its efforts, it organised the first ‘Building international peace and security for the digital society’ conference that was held from 6-7 April 2017 at the UNESCO headquarters.

Following on this path, IDETCOM is holding this conference which is open to the general public.
