As a professor of public law, Serge Regourd left his indelible mark on the law relating to local authorities, public service issues, cultural law and audiovisual communications law. He held numerous managerial positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Communications, bringing together courses in Social and Economic Administration (AES) and Communications. He taught several generations of students on degree courses that he created, including the Master 2 in Media Law. In keeping with his career and diverse interests, this collection pays tribute to Professor Regourd through its wide variety of studies on public law, private law, political science, communications law, the sociology of law, and information and communications.
